Ruby cung cấp 4 phương thức so sánh bằng với mức độ nghiêm ngặt khác nhau: `==` so sánh giá trị, `eql?` so sánh giá trị kèm kiểu dữ liệu (dùng cho Hash key), `equal?` so sánh địa chỉ ô nhớ, và `===` dùng để kiểm tra tư cách thành viên trong mệnh đề `case-when`.
